[thundering Hagglemaster voice] **Doctor Who** , I don’t care that the game is nearly over, or that you were doing it essentially as a free giveaway in reply to another free giveaway. You should not have pmed **Dragoness** rule 17, because you _do not_ hold a copy. I have said from the beginning, always be very sure that things are kosher before pming rules, and that is the most basic regulation. You cannot propagate rules you do not hold, unless you are willing to announce them in the thread. There may be sanctions for this. I’m not sure yet. [/thv] ETA: **nesta** , **USCDiver** , I consider the two of you the injured parties here, I guess, since you hold the two extant copies of 17. Therefore, I’d be interested to hear your reactions, either here in the thread or privately. ---

[/QUOTE] Hmm… that seems a bit harsh on the Dragon Lady, since she didn’t ask for that PM or have any clue beforehand that it was an illegal rule. I realize that she’s got intel now that she shouldn’t, but still… I might well be upset to get a total trade lockup if I were in her situation. Probably neither should make any trades without approval, until we’ve sorted this out though. Sorry D. ☹ ---

Or! Or, we could all get a rule that we haven’t seen and call things even! It’s only fair. Actually, you have to make it TWO rules that we haven’t seen just to prevent such injustice from happening in the future. 😃 ---

First off, withdraw and and all open Hal Offers. Ok, as we near the end, it’s time for my final deals. Or, rather, it’s time for you to make offers. Here are the cards I will part with: G, G, J, K, K and X First, I’ll give up any three of these and a rule slip (give, not peek) for an “I” Card. Once that is done, I’ll give up two of the remaining cards and a rule slip (give, not peek) for an M Card, and the remaining card and a rule slip (give, not peek) for a W Card. That’s like what, they fourth or fifth time I’ve tried to trade/manipulate rules that I don’t own. [/QUOTE] Umm… okay, not really at all sure what we’re going to do about this, so close to the end of game, but… I should have said ‘You cannot propagate rules you do not hold, except by announcing them in the thread.’ Announcing it out loud as a way of ‘fixing’ the damage afterwards isn’t too helpful, although if you had wanted to ‘tell’ it to **Dragoness** that way in the first place, that would have been alright. ---

Sure, procedures weren’t followed by mistake, but so what? No harm, no foul. ---
