# Hail storm in Sydney yesterday afternoon

A hail storm hit Sydney yesterday afternoon. My garden was completely covered, giving the impression of a snowfall. People were skiing down the hills in the park across the road from me - something I never thought I’d see just up the road from Sydney harbour.

I saw one car that had a sheet draped over it. What would that do to protect the car?

Sydney Park (in St Peters) would have been a great place to snowboard, with those long steep slopes.
