# hair

why does pubic hair, arm hair and leg hair only grow to a certain length?

**All** hair grows to a certain length (though not the same length all over your body), stops for a while, then falls out and is (usually)replaced - it’s just that the hair on your head has a terminal length that is (usually)longer than your hairstyle.
