At this point, with all the hackers, industrial in-fighting, conflicting rumors, and related shenanigans, I’m not going to believe any release date I hear until at least two weeks after I’ve received my copy.

Cool! But I’ve got World of Warcraft and Prince of Persia 2 in my gaming queue before this one; I’ll probably wait six months until the price comes down before getting it. Certainly the first game is my favorite FPS ever, and I look forward to playing it.

It’s going to be a good month for gaming… Halo 2, GTA:SA, and Half Life 2! I’m looking forward to HL2 more than the others, since like **Left Hand** the original Half Life is my favorite FPS.
I’ve been doing the Steam download/preload. I’ve read a few articles that said the downloaders won’t be able to play until it hits the shelves in stores. Part of me is still hoping, however, that since HL2 is gold, the Steam crowd will be able to hop back into Gordon Freeman’s HEV suit tonight…
But I’m not holding my breath!
