Adipocere is, in basic terms, when the fatty acid residue left over from the body’s decomposing adipose tissue turns into … well, wax. “Grave wax” it’s often called. \ I guess that means you could stick a wick in 'em and use 'em as your very own human tallow candle. \ ---

Here’s squicky for you: [60 acres of spider webs](http://flatrock.org.nz/topics/animals/millions_of_tiny_spiders.htm) that are home to tens of millions of tiny spiders on some poor guy’s farm in BC (with pics). Also includes pics that were posted here some time ago about silkworm webs. Yummy! ---

However, a field full of them, in numbers significant enough to constitute _seething masses_, then I must take leave of my sanity. Just imagine walking into the middle of that field and lying down.
