The Smiths had several songs that would work for Halloween: [Cemetery Gates](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IOMwu6OoGo4) [Girlfriend in a Coma](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xgtitHA22i0&feature=PlayList&p=3986B1ADC88E4603&playnext=1&playnext_from=PL&index=3) [Death at One’s Elbow](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iRBc_iyDvs4) (“There’s somebody here who’ll take a hatchet to your ear…”) ---

Undead by Hollywood Undead has a lot of horror elements in the beginning of the song, but the lyrics do seem to feature the versatility of the word “fuck”, so you may not want it if small kids will be listening. ---

[Haunted House](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PBg0rnWTz3U) by Jumpin’ Gene Simmons (not the Kiss guy). If this has already been listed, my apologies. I didn’t see its title anywhere, and I didn’t click on the videos that didn’t give a title. If this has not already been listed – My God! What’s this world coming to! This and “Monster Mash” are the two songs that have been played to death for Halloween by top 40 stations for decades.
