**SuperDude** , you hit it on the head: _the more, the merrier._ As for my planning of this, uh…well, I’m not sure. I’m the idea man here 🙂 Actually, assuming I’m still in Loonyville, I’ll probably be making some weekend trips back home over the next few months to settle some details[ul] [li] There are a number of local bars, sights and attractions ( **Go Bucks!** ). [_] I can probably get the clubhouse (if I make plans this early, anyway.) [_] I _think_ my apartment complex has a deal where people can get an apartment overnight like a hotel room and it’s pretty cheap and incredibly nice, but I’ve got some room…a couch, 1,100 sq. ft. of floor-space and my bed (line forms to the left) and there are plenty of hotels around for out-of-towners. [_] Directions are a piece of cake, assuming it’s at my place, but it doesn’t have to be, so we can work on those. [_] Also depending on locaton, I’ll probably make the Ohio version of “George,” _Harry Buffalo_ (aka: Hate Punch, Jungle Juice or Blackout Sipper) & (be careful with the fruit on the bottom!)[/ul][/li]Local folks can probably find a ride over, if not with me, than with any of the myiad other Ohio Dopers (and there are [many](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?threadid=16598) in this fine state.) BTW, **Dude** , I’m out of town most weekends, but almost every Wednesday I’m up at _Jake and Elwoods_ on Shelbyville and Breckenridge. Drop me an email. ---

Hell, I’ll grope Persephone! Oddly enough, my October is starting to look busy. This from me, the girl who NEVER has any plans, suddenly has concerns about fitting something in THREE MONTHS OFF. But I have a trip to CO and possibly a trip to VA that month. If I can make it, tho, I’ll be there with bells on. [sub]Note to all: the “bells on” was a figure of speech. This is no way should be taken as a commitment from me to attend dressed as a sleigh, a church steeple, a carrilon, a salvation army bucket, an elf, or any entity, edifice, or object known to have bells thereon. Furthermore, no one with plans for a costume which includes bells should feel compelled to find a new costume, complain to the management about “stolen ideas”, or plot my untimely death on my way back to MI thanks to a sheared-off brake cable. Got it? It’s just an expression. A cliche. A colloquialism, so to speak.[/sub] ---

If anybody needs a ride up from Cincinnati, I can haul 2-3 people, depending on if the missus decides to go or not, on the following conditions: -You don’t care if I smoke like a chimmney. -You don’t complain about all the crumpled up cigarette packs on the floor of my car. -You don’t touch the radio. **NO.** I’ll have more definite plans as the day approaches. ---

I’m a Columbus Doper, and this sounds like fun. I’ll tentatively offer up shitty lodgings for a few people. It has to be tentative because I may end up living in a glorified cubicle… er, studio I mean.
