Everyone is welcome, really. The reason some of us seem to know each other a bit better is _because_ we’ve met each other before. It’ll be a good time, no pressure to be witty or informative, just to meet people IRL (not that you’ll be pressured into meeting anyone, I just meant that that is the biggest thing to do…which isn’t to say you _can’t_ be witty or hold a lengthy discourse on a topic of your choosing…uh, nevermind.) It’ll be fun and everyone is welcome is all I’m saying ---

**Bovary** , I am giving serious consideration to drive up from Cincinnati, and I won’t know anyone from RL either, so we can start a support group if that would make you feel better. If any other Southwest Ohioans are interested, and need a lift in a _non-smoking_ vehicle, let me know. Also willing to take any bright ideas on how to dress as a Shibboleth… ---

**think** has rented out his apartment complex’s club house. Rules are: dress up, bring a snack to share, bring a drink(s) to share, meet fellow Dopers, party, enjoy. Well, seeing as how I’ll have to back out of the ChiDope coming up, perhaps an OhDope is just what the doctor ordered. Did I see a grouping leaving from Chi in my skimmings of this thread, or do I have to hitchhike? Good lord, and a costume, too? Us Chi people just get drunk and have an orgy. We don’t need no stinkin’ costumes to get in the mood. Silly Ohioans. ---

Hey **thinksnow** , I think we should have everyone do a shot of Stroh before they can come to the party. And take a picture of them just as the burn starts to hit. 😃 I’m definitely planning on going, but I don’t know yet if I’m flying or driving. My back didn’t tolerate the drive to Spiffled very well (and that was the reason I was horizontal much of Friday evening on Spiffled weekend; it had nothing to do with alcohol), and that was only 3 hours, and given the cheap fares, flying is definitely looking like a good option (a whopping $78). **thinksnow** , you’d be more than happy to pick me up at the airport, right? **RIGHT??!!??** But it’s only July - why am I worrying about this _now_ when it’s three months away? I was rooting around in my basement yesterday looking for something to use as a strap for a purse I made, and I found a cloak. A cloak. A black cloak. With a hood and everything. It was in a box of craft stuff that my husband got for me, for $2 at a silent auction. Hm. I think this means that I must dress as a witch for Halloween this year. And maybe if I start practicing right now, I can figure out how to use my Tarot cards and do some readings. 😃 ---
