Dagnabbit, I just checked with my moms group and that’s the weekend we’re all meeting in Denver. Sigh. Well, if for any reason I can’t make it to Denver, I’ll come to Columbus. Ok, I’ve always wanted to go to an out-of-state fest, and this one seems like I have enough time for me to save up money for it. Right now nothing is set in stone. I’ve already started my plans to raise money (all donations accepted! ANYTHING!) to increase my chances of attending. I should know by mid-August whether I will be able to come for sure or not. Right now the chances look about 50/50. I’ll keep you all updated with my status. I guess I’ll represent California, here! ---

**Monster** , if you can swing out this way, you’ll be the envy of left-coast Dopers everywhere (but mostly in Cali.) Remember, this is the MidWest, so the exchange rate is something like $1.63(Ohio):$0.15(Cali) and your money goes a little futher. **UB** , you can come as whomever you wish, but if you claim to be a gun-toter, you might actually have to go to the shooting range this time. Personally, I’ve always been fond of the beer-can-knight suit of armor, but do what you fell is best. **BunnyDarlin’** , there will be no shaving of people unless specifically called for in a dare or double-dog dare. ---

If you are looking to buy a plinking gun, I suggest you consider the Browning Buckmark line; I’ve got one of these that is absolutely fabulous. Browning, like Ruger, has about 20 different models in that line ranging in price from about $200 to $500. ---
