Potential Spoiler: So… I’ve heard Laurie Strode gets killed at the beginning of the movie. I wonder if anyone else on here has heard anything about the movie. ---

I heard it sucked. Okay, didn’t really hear that, but it’s a guesstimation (like a guess, but better. Well, in science class it was anyway). I really liked the first two, and when H2O came out and discreditted 4-6/7?, I was really happy as well. It went back to simple “Crazy brother trying to kill his sister.” and it brought a nice ending to the full series. The fact that they’ve now ressurected him from being DECAPITATED WITH AN AXE!!! (in 1 and 2, he never really died), it really bugs me. It’s like, they went through all this trouble to say “Look, all that other stuff was stupid shit, here’s a honest to goodness finale,” and then went back on their word. I swear, if druids show up in this film, I will blow up the production company that let this thing pass. Anyway, it’s going to suck. It won’t be as hokey as Jason X, but it will suck nonetheless. ---

I want to see it. I really liked H20. But… I truly do not see a point to this sequel with the ending of the last one being what it was. ---

Just wondering… what does Michael Myers DO when it isn’t Halloween? Does he just sit around twiddling his thumbs the rest of the year? Heck, sometimes 10+ years go by between films… does he get a job at Burger King in the meantime? Does he just watch a lot of TV? Just what does he DO during those long stretches between killing sprees? ---

OK, so I saw the original when I was a wee lad, and don’t really think I’ll get around to seeing it again, nor sitting through however many sequels there are. But I’m quite curious, especially after reading \*\* El Elvis Rojo’s\*\* comment. Were the MM sequels similar to the F13 flicks - just random excuses for killing teenagers? Or was there a bit of backstory involved in each one. Why were the latter sequels horrid - were they heretical to the original story? In one or two sentences, what were the basic plots / shocking revelations behind the movies? Thanks! Rhythmdvl PS … can anyone help me get that “three more days 'till Halloween, Halloween, Halloween” song out of my head. ---

El Elvis, To me it seemed like MM was well and dead at the end of Halloween 2. I mean, he had been shot ate LEAST 25 times, including twice directly into his eyes, which blinded, but somehow didn’t kill him. Go figure THAT one out. Then he was blown up/set completely on fire, yet he managed to stagger out of the room and down the hall and almost but not quite reach Laurie, before his evil soul finally said, “Hell, with this, I’m goin’ for a beer!” at which point MM collapsed and burned, presumabley to a very well-done finish. ---
