How would an attempt at imposing more Islamic law go over in the PA? I had been thinking the answer would be poorly, but the magnitude of the “protests” over that stupid cartoon makes me wonder if their would not be more support than I would think.
Meanwhile, Hamas associated individuals are involved in launching rockets against Israel from Gaza although they seem to have been acting without official blessing, and a Hamas leader states negotiation for a “long term truce” is possible but recognition of Israel’s right to exist is not and never will be.
It’s not a personal exchange at all. I’ve no interest in the personalities behind DSeid and Shodan. Rather both have alluded to evidence presented in this thread which apparently corrodes my argument. Yet when asked they decline to state it. Now I may in fact have overlooked an interesting argument and wouldn’t wish to miss it. I’m merely making the point that this new-found timidity and circumlocution of the 2 suggests that the argument in question isn’t of much force. That’s addressing the issue in as much as I can discern it.
