I do look through the reduced number of catalogs I get, and order anything interesting from Amazon where it is a lot cheaper. Even better, I saw an item to keep your garbage bag slipping down for only $7.50, figured out it was a bunch of big rubber bands, and picked them up at Staples for 79 cents or so. ---

A few years ago, someone got ahold of my debit card info and tried to charge $696 to The catalog. Fortunately, The bank spotted The fraud before I did and reversed The charge. ---

For 30 years I got a Crutchfield catalog maybe twice per year. Actually bought my first flat panel TV through them as they had free shipping and Best Buy didn’t. Never did buy any of the stereo equipment I use to drool over in my 20s. ---
