Even though COVID-19 is spread primarily through aerosols, it’s possible hand washing has a smaller but still significant effect.

And it is just a smart thing to do anyway so any benefit for COVID is a nice bonus. It is worth doing even if it did nothing for COVID.

Right, it definitely helps with the flu. And while covid is more likely to kill than flu is, flu still royally sucks, so avoiding getting flu is definitely still a good thing.
