Try the big kitchen gloves. Sweaty hands in gloves would be great if you have dry skin. “I don’t know how you do it! When I used to surf for extended periods of time, my hands would be dried and cracked afterward.” I think that its a matter of circulation? Better hand circulation means more moisture? But then why doesn’t the resof your body skin get dry when you surf? ---

My friend, a veterinarian, swears by “Bag Balm.” Buy it at your local feed and grain store. I haven’t tried it so cannot vouch personally. ---

Ok, folks…you asked me to keep you informed if I found something and I did. I went to Bath and Body Works and found something called “Healing Hand Cream.” I didn’t buy it before because it cost 10 bucks a bottle but I was desperate so I splurged. It is doing the job really nicely! A little goes a long way. I’ve used less than half the bottle so far and in the amount of time it took to use that much I would have gone thru at least 3 bottles of the other stuff. My hands aren’t cracking anymore. Too cool!
