I don’t think the Reason article is even correct since it stated that the FDA cited a company for using cheese boards. The citation was because they found listeria monocytogenes on a cheese board, not because of the board itself.
I have to go there to work and sleep and eat.
Fortunately I’m already here, so the commute is manageable.
…the first cite says that the 60 day rule was introduced in 1985, and now Americans prefer the bland, somewhat underripe Brie to the “real thing.” The second shows that most people don’t care, and the third, as has been revealed, is completely wrong.
So what is the issue again?
Ok, so now the US Gumment is NOT going to cut the cheese?

And we all know that the French are ridiculously healthy

Hah, they live longer in Singapore.
And those Frenchies don’t do so well when it comes to mental health.
I doubt it. If anyone were to ask Obama why his FDA is going after our cheese, he’d probably say yet again that he had no clue what his underlings were doing until he read it in the paper, which in this particular case would probably be true. It’s more an example of how bureaucracy is running our lives than of how Obama or any other single person is.
No need to worry about the over use of antibiotics in animals, lets go after microorganisms in cheese. We are all doomed, doomed I say. While awaiting death, please pass the Camembert and Sauvignon Blanc. Wait, is that a bacon wrapped suckling pig medallion on your plate?
