I’m pretty sure people aren’t really upset about the Nazi. Because this disrupts their idea of how the board moderation works, they’re worried that other people will be banned without warning, too. Ed did say fairly recently that the one thing the moderation tries to do is give you at least warning before you are banned. But, I don’t know if he mentioned it or someone else, but trolling has always been the exception to that general rule. I get that some people don’t get why it was trolling and not some other offense. But I think the mods have made a pretty good case for it in the thread. Trolling is the one thing that can get you instabanned. It doesn’t have to, but it can. And, in this case, it did. ---
