For what exactly? Not wearing her seatbelt in a movie scene? Not in real life, but in a movie scene? Have we become such a safety conscious, pussified society that we don’t mind murder, rape, torture, violence, full frontal nudity, profanity, drug use, but show a girl and her Dad, in a movie, in the back seat no less, not wearing a fucking seatbelt and it is outrageous? God forbid if she didn’t floss after a meal or something, then we would really have a story. Fuck the safety-minded people who are ripping the soul out of this “free” country… ---

It’s weird how they’re getting on her case about every little thing. The whole controversy about using a stand-in, people unable to get tickets or scalpers asking thousands of dollars for them, now this. Jesus, she’s just a kid! I know she’s in the public eye, but I really don’t see how any of this stuff is so bad. ---
