Meeting someone you just “click” with. Swimming in the ocean. A meal with my extended family. Hot chocolate with marshmallows on a cold night, curled up in front of the fire in your bathrobe having just got out of a bubble bath. Dancing to “Blondie” with my dog. ---

1… anything romantic/physical with my boyfriend. 2… hugging/holding my daughter (my angel). 3… reading a ol’ favorite book in bed (assuming I have time). 4… when you’re driving and in NO rush, and your favorite song comes on. Variation: a few good songs come on in a row. 5… taking a bubble bath (assuming I have time). 6… having a glass of good red wine (assuming said angel is asleep) 7… sharing a good laugh with my boyfriend and/or friends 8… sitting down at my computer and discovering the poem you’re working on just completely “gels”. Variation: the writing just flows. ---
