When all evening I can’t seem to catch my cat’s attention and I conclude he’s just using me for food and shelter…but then right when I’m about to fall asleep, he climbs on my chest and purrs. If I was just a food and shelter supplier to him, he wouldn’t bother doing this. And this thought makes me happy. ---

I’m an artist, and each piece takes me about 5-6 weeks to finish. But the one I’m working on right now is very complex, and I’ve been working on it for several months. It’ll be finished in about 2-3 weeks. Then I’ll be able to stand back, looking at the finished piece, and say “Wow, I did that!” That’s happiness. ---

Going to convention with my grandson, and have him play Pathfinder without any of his family around for hours, then coming back to me and telling me that I really am the greatest Gamemaster in the world. ---
