I was navy but proud to serve with marine instructors and fellow students at the NATTC in Memphis and the mardet on the Connie and Ranger. Damned if they didn’t have the cleanest head on the entire ship 😃 Of course they didn’t screw around during a broken arrow drill. The only person ever to point a weapon at me was a marine corporal telling me to hit the deck… which I did post fucking haste. Still I can think of no group of people I’d rather have on my side when the shit hits the fan.
