# Happy 420 Holiday

Another year and another 420 holiday.
Not that I actually participate anymore. 🆒 I leave that for the younger crowd these days. I’ve heard the event at University of Colorado, Boulder is very large.
For those who aren’t familiar with this unofficial holiday.

I live in Boulder - pot is basically legal, you need a card, but on this day…no one needs a card. I won’t be able to drive on Broadway all day, especially after they hoist the 60-ft long joint up over the road.
I still partake, it’s much safer than booze and no one has to worry about getting a case of the rage after smoking a J.
Puff, Puff, Give people.
p.s. It was a very interesting moving from a conservative state in New England to a very liberal city here in Colorado. Pot seems to be just a given on the streets. I do know the crime rate went waaay down after all those dispensaries opened [89 in Boulder alone] and sales of twinkies and other tastely snacks skyrocketed. Its interesting in a town where everyone is so health conscious.

Fact: If you multiply the numbers in the title of the Bob Dylan song “Rainy Day Women #12 & 35” (which contains the chorus “Everybody must get stoned.”) the result is 420.
