Welp, this is my very first Independence Day as a US Citizen! I am going to the beach today, then going to see the Macy\*s fireworks spectaculor, then going to a party. _waves a little flag_ Happy 4th, everybody! 🙂 ---

**Lola** , have you seen the fireworks before? If not here’s a small warning-- It gets really, **really** crowded. And not fun, more like scary in some places. Except if you have tickets to the party at the Heliport-- that was very nice. Until we had to fight the crowds to get to the train station after. Me, I’m off to spend the weekend in Pennsylvania. Hershey for the fourth and then the Railroad museum and some fattening and heavy Pennsylvania Dutch food tomorrow. Bye ya’ll. Wish us luck with the traffic. ---

Yes, **BigGirl** - I have seen ‘em plenny o’ times. I agree it’s very crowded, but I think they are AWESOME and heaps of fun! No rooftop party this year, but we may actually see them from Brooklyn Heights side this year! 🙂 Have fun! ---

My spouse the Captain will be driving a water taxi in Baltimore this afternoon and evening. I’m going to join him and watch the fireworks from the water. Yay!
