I’m sitting at Midway Airport here in Chicago, waiting for my flight to Atlanta on to Huntsville, Alabama, to photograph a Sikh wedding for a colleague of mine. Currently eating overpriced chicken tenders with Buffalo sauce. 🙂 ---

~~Being dragged to~~ going to a BBQ with a bunch of people I dont know, some people I actively don’t like, and some people I do like. Then coming home to listen to every hayseed in the neighborhood set off (illegal) mortars and (illegal) cherry bombs and every other (illegal) firework known to man for hours and hours and _hours_ on end while the local rozzers do jack shit about it, scaring my dog senseless and keeping me from sleeping until about 4 hours past my usual bedtime. I really don’t like the 4th. ---

Sitting inside, watching TV and the weather. Supposed to thunderstorm right in the middle of prime grilling hour, so I’m keeping an eye on it in case I have to oil up the griddle plate for the stove, because these burgers are getting cooked today one way or another. ---
