Apropos of nothing inn particular [(he said, with somehow disingenuously nonchalant expression)](https://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showpost.php?p=9899316&postcount=33), I’d like to take this opportunity to wish **Clothahump** and SWMBO a happy 25th wedding anniversary.\* May you enjoy another 25\*\* in good health and happiness. 🙂 \*well, 25th for SWMBO; 300th for **Clothy**. \*\*300. ---

On the one hand it’s somewhat creepy that you track personal details of other board members that closely. On the other hand, assuming you’ve done the math correctly, I too wish **Clothahump** a happy 25th. The spouse and I are coming up on 28 years ourselves and as I always say: so far, so good. ---

Thank you very much. Our big celebration was to go to the Astros game on Sunday. That’s how we got started in the first place was going to an Astros game. I gave her a silver necklace with our initials and the number 25 engraved on it. I was going to give her a bowling pin with the number 300 on it, but wasn’t able to get my hands on one. We have a standing lunch date during the week. It fell on the actual anniversary day, so I showed up at her office door with a big bunch of flowers. She, in turn, gave me a (silver) gift bag with silver paper and [an assortment of all things silver.](https://i.imgur.com/zb7Y1ZZ.jpg). She said the duct tape was to hold me together for the next 25 years! 😃 ---
