Brag-brag-brag Today is our 46th anniversary! In some ways, it seems like yesterday, but it also feels like we’ve been married forever. Gah, we were so young and STUPID! A lot of smiles, a lot of tears, a lot of yelling as I look back. But oh, he still makes my heart go pitty-pat, and I just enjoy being with him. June 30, 1974. We were married at Wayfarer’s Chapel in Portuguese Bend, CA. Look it up! It’s a small glass church, right on the coast. ~VOW ---

We had Subway sammiches! The Daughter and family gifted us an Edible Arrangement, which was HEAVEN. And Mr VOW bought us an ice cream cake from 31 flavors! I bought Mr VOW two pair of jeans…in a skinnier size, because he has lost FIFTY pounds! A great anniversary! ~VOW ---

But clearly not stupid. Marrying somebody who you still enjoy being with 46 years later is the absolute reverse of stupid. Happy anniversary!
