We’re not doing ritual until Sunday because the High Priestess is on double overtime at work. I spent Beltane proper administering a standardized state test to my students - about as un-sexy and un-fire-festivally as you can get. ☹ Midsummer will be better . . . I keep telling myself this . . . ---

**matt** , those Wiccan friends of mine did the same thing (entering Pagan holidays into their PDAs). I still remember having lunch at Denny’s with them before a ritual with them typing the words of the ritual into their Palm Pilots. The ritual that night was, in part read from the PDAs if I remember right. Blessed be, all of you, CJ ---

I have a question… seeing as it’s a seasonal celebration, in the southern hemisphere should we also be celebrating Beltane, even though we are going into Autumn? I have friends who observe Beltane now, as in the northern hemisphere tradition, and I have friends who observe it sometime in September IIRC. If Beltane were to be observed in September, what holiday would my friends be celebrating for the start of Autumn instead? Would it be Samhain? ---
