# Happy Birthday Cecil!

It has come to my attention that, in addition to celebrating rodents predicting the weather, February 2nd is also the anniversary of the day Cecil Adams sprang, full grown, from the forehead of an unnamed _cough_ editor in 1973.

Happy birthday, you old fart. Have a glass of Bailey’s and look upon your works. We who still carry the banner in the fight against ignorance salute you!
