Due to the events of the last few days, I have not been able to post a birthday thread. (I know, I know: “But you posted some other ones, and replied to others!” Never mind that, all right? ;)) So this is a (belated) birthday thread for the following people: **Gr8Kat** (whose birthday was actually the 13th) **Venoma** (whose birthday was actually the 13th) **TN\*hippie** (whose birthday was actually the 13th) **Zaps\_Rowsdower** (whose birthday was actually yesterday, the 14th) **Geobabe** (whose birthday is today, unless I misread **Hamadryad** ’s post a couple weeks ago) Without any further ado, then: **HAPPY BIRTHDAY, GR8KAT!!!** **HAPPY BIRTHDAY, VENOMA!!!** **HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TN\*HIPPIE!!!** **HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ZAPS\_ROWSDOWER!!!** **HAPPY BIRTHDAY, GEOBABE!!!** Approximate Phonetic Chinese Version of “Happy Birthday”: (thanks, Nathan!) “Guung juuk nay fook sow yuen teen tsai, hing hong nay sun sun fie lok. That absolutely sucks, my friend. ☹ One of my friends had a similar experience a couple of years ago: his girlfriend called him up on his birthday (of all days) and told him that she didn’t want to go out with him anymore. Basically, the only difference was that my friend turned 17 on that day. No problem at all, **Geobabe**! Actually, I was lucky to post the thread at all, since my keyboard decided to finally give up the ghost as I was about to make some final changes to the post before hitting “Submit.” So after I posted that, I went to the spare computer parts store known as My Brother’s House[sup]TM[/sup]. So thank goodness I now have a working keyboard and mouse. Now all I have to do is figure out why my speakers aren’t working… but I digress/hijack. I do hope your night went well, though. **UncleBill** , glad to know that the move went well. Best of luck unpacking and everything!
