You know, Res… you’re absolutely right on that one. In fact, one of my sister’s traditional Chinese friends invited everyone to his birthday party at some sushi place. Afterwards, he insisted on paying the entire bill (easily upwards of $200 or so), even though it was his own birthday and by rights, he should have been treated by everyone else. That was an interesting story my sister had for us.
