Hope that you have something wonderful planned. Enjoy your new brakes (see, I do remember stuff). At the **very** least you should not have to do: 1. dishes 2. laundry 3. make food today. (we’re taking my SO out for his, probably to Fridays[sup]tm[/sup]. I gave him already a swell ‘nodder’ for his truck -you know, those tacky things with the bobbing heads? this one is a flocked Sphinx. - try saying that 3 times fast- that I bought when I took **UncleBeer & Strainger** to this wonderful shop in downtown Lansing. Tonight, I’m handing him a copy of an old book he wanted, Richard Halliburton’s book of Marvels, thanks for asking; and letting him think that’s it. But when he comes home, he’ll find a new little tv in the kitchen so he can watch the History Channel all about trains and Nazis and stuff while he’s cooking - hopefully his special popcorn for me, but I digress) Back to you: do you let them take you out to restauranst where they circle your table and sing at you? Maybe we shoud do this… 😃 ---

You guys are SO SWEET! So far today, nothing exciting has happened. Considering the fact that it’s my 34th birthday, no excitement is to be expected. A nice, boring birthday. My daughter is still dressed, but she just got home from day camp. I imagine she’ll be naked soon. 😃 I’m currently waiting for a friend of mine to get here. He’s the cosigner on my car. We got sick of the company that held the lien on the car, so he paid it off, and he’s taking over as lienholder. So we’re going to the Secretary of State. Where I will also shell out a disgusting amount of money for new tags. Gaaaaaaaah. Later on this evening, my husband and I are (GASP!) going to a movie. Seeing as how he works nights and I work days, the fact that we are going anywhere together is truly amazing (we spend so little quality time together that we both entertained the notion of our second child being an immaculate conception). No, I am not cooking. I am not cleaning. I’m not doing diddly after I get back from taking care of the car thing, except going to the aforementioned movie. And I did have to work this morning (but I got done at noon :D), so I didn’t get to sleep in. But I’ve got tomorrow off too, so I get to sleep in tomorrow. Which is really all I want for my birthday. Sleep. Sleep, sleep, sleep. Yesssssssss. **Medea:** Hey! I asked you in my thread about the unusual birthday gifts if you wanted to do lunch, for _our_ birthdays (Medea’s is coming up, in a few hours, IIRC). But I found out later that you had gone “up north,” as so many Good Michiganders do this time of year. The offer still holds, though! 😃 (((((((Everyone))))))) Thanks! 😃 ---

Happy Happy Birthday, Miss Persephone! At work today, the first time I had to acknowledge the date, the ol’ brainpan registered that it was yer day. No wonder there, the undulating folds cough it up rightly when something important needs to be done. Filing yer B’day is one of them thangs, 'cause of course, you are one of the most swell gals I’ve ever had the priviledge to meet and behold! I hope you have a great birthday, and all your beloveds give you the treats you deserve. Here’s the most succulent artichoke I can find, leaf by leaf, and then the sweet heart dipped in a curry sauce, munched bit by bit… I hope ya swing on the moon tonight! ---
