It’s Thursday, August 4 over here already, and August 4 is President Obama’s birthday. Today he turns the big 5-0. I always remember Obama’s birthday, because he shares it with my wife, who is older of course. Happy Birthday, Mr. President! (You too, Mrs Siam ;)) ---

I’m not looking forward to turning 50 this year, but the fact that I’m still younger than the POTUS is heartening. It makes me feel less old. ---

I thought I’d be a lot older before we had a president younger than I am. I gotta say, he has aged a lot these last couple of years, like most presidents seem to. But he still looks pretty good for 50. ---
