Although it isn’t Thanksgiving Day for me, it is still my birthday, has been for 42 years. I’m planning a nice, indulgent day, followed by an evening alone after Jim goes off to curl. Oh well - we’re having my birthday party on Saturday, and I have lots of “Dr. Who” to watch - life is good. 🙂 I know there’s at least one other Doper who shares my birthday - Happy Birthday to you too, **Shirley Ujest**! ---

My birthday is always in the vicinity of our Thanksgiving, which means I often get to celebrate with my extended family. However it was preempted this year because Election Day fell on my birthday and I was campaign manager… eek! I didn’t do anything for my birthday at all, not even afterward because I was too wiped, but I did have Thanksgiving with my future-sister-in-law’s family the Sunday previous. It was a nice way to relax a bit before the mayhem. ---

Woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!! I am stuffed to the point of barfing, nearly in a food induced coma, but I came in here to wish **featherlou** a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!11!!! Excuse me, I have to waddle over to the couch, wrestle my 10 year old for the remote and plant myself in front of the boob tube until I become catatonic.
