I just wnated to wish our neighbors to the north a Happy and fun Canada Day weekend! (I know the actual day is on Monday, but I wanted to be the first.) Thanks for hockey, Wayne Gretzky, Mike Myers, Lorne Greene, Dana Carvey, Brendan Fraser, Moosehead Beer, and just being good folks in general. ---

I was going to wait until Monday to send my wished _on_ Canada Day, but since there is a thread already… **Happy Canada Day Weekend!** And thanks for being good neighbours and for putting up with us. 😉 ---

Yeah, damn you, **gobear**. I had a full-page thread waiting in the wings to be posted on Sunday night, but no, you had to jump the gun. I’ll just save it until next year, then, and say Happy Canadia Day. Canada. Canada. There’s no i. I know that, I swear I do. ---

I like having a long weekend and all, but it also happens to be National Moving Day in Quebec. Last year, I had to wait 20 bloody minutes just to get an elevator downstairs… But thanks! Proud Canadian here. 🆒 - s.e. ---

Ooooooh I actually can’t WAIT for Canada Day this year!! I live in the Nations Capital (Ottawa) and this will be the first nice year in about 4 years!! (If the weather network can be believed) Last year it was about 3 degC and windy, the fireworks were cancelled. The 3 years previous were raining off and on all day. I can not WAIT to paaaaaaaaaarty!!! Thanks for all the well wishes! ---

Can anyone find out the lyrics to Stompin’ Tom Connor’s _Canada Day_? It starts out: It’s Canada Day Up Canada way On the first day of July…
