Is this the holiday where you do elaborate chalk art on your doorstep, or am I mixing it up with Holi? [And Holi is another holiday that sounds like a blast, running water and paint powder battles through the streets by adults!] ---

I know about Diwali because on Friday an employee in Pune accidentally sent a colorful “Happy Diwali!” email to the global email list for the very large company I work for. 🙂 ---

In our Triumvirate, which is not even remotely like the Christian Triumvirate, the Sustainer of Life is Vishnu. He is married to Lakshmi, because you need material wealth to sustain you through life. ---

Happy Diwali! We had a huge potluck at work and all wore traditional garb. I’m still full from the dessert table. Got a lot of colorful emails too!
