Take this drama and cram it, Paula! Just let it go, and have a good time here while getting drunk and eating tasty holiday food. Leave your twentysomething sons alone to sort out thier own lives and mistakes. And when they ask you for favors tell them to fuck off. You’re ALL being overdramatic bucketheads who need an asskicking.

And for the love of cupcakes, stop nagging me to eat and asking me if i am cold. I don’t need help dressing or feeding myself and if i was COLD i would not be wearing shorts, which i AM not going OUTSIDE in them, i am hanging out in my home.

Stop telling us what movies to watch cos we don’t all want to watch the same goddamn thing… I don’t want to see or read Twilight or Couples Retreat or Four Christmases… Just say NO to Christmas movies! Let’s watch football or somethinh where shit blows up!!

I would like to state this Xmas at the inlaws went _really nicely_. No religious or political crap was started up and I didn’t feel any burning rage or desire to drink at all to make it through the meal. Actually I think part of me knows that it is about 3-5 hours of meh. Maybe I grew up a little. Who knows.
