But I’ve lived there, and your pleasant weather turns to HELL, complete with demons, pitchforks, and laywers, in just a few months more. Now, see, where I live, the weather is perfect. If you’re ADHD and bipolar. A few days ago we had torrential rain, light rain, torrential rain, clear skies, and _hail_…during the ten minutes it took me to drive home from work. At the moment, it’s sunny. Which means nothing. ---

When I was in Montreal last weekend though, my mother informed me that their snow removal contractor had passed his contractually obligated 400 cm (160 inches) per season and they were getting charged extra for the next few weeks. Also, one more foot of snow and Montreal breaks the seasonal record set back in the 70s. ---

Yeah, the weather is a drag here in London too, but there are compensations. I was in [The Antelope](http://fancyapint.com/pubs/pub932.html) yesterday having a pint of [Honey Dew](http://www.fullers.co.uk/rte.asp?id=50) (they have it on tap, rather than bottled), and there was a fire going in the fireplace. There’s nothing like relaxing in a leather armchair with a pint next to a fire to warm things up on a chilly day! ---

What sucks to be “us” though, is that we had a teensy, tiny taste of spring-ish weather. It was in the 40’s and sunny for, what?, a week or so, so we lost tons o’snow. We were down to those ugly little rock-looking piles of snow. That was just this past Thursday! So yesterday we get this crap and it’s all white and slippery, packed ice on the roads again. We are now at something like 97.2" snowfall for the year, double our average, long ago broke the 30-year-old record. We might as well get a couple more a break 100". **Otto** , you are SO eloquent. ---

Well, we did actually get one day of snowfall in Atlanta, in February if I recall. Many’s the year since I moved here that I say, “Did we forget to have Winter? There was some rainy Fall weather that dragged on for a bit, but no Winter. Now it’s getting hot again. I hate Georgia.” ---

It’s snowing outside my window in London right now. I swear to Christ I **HATE** this fucking cunting country and it’s fucking shitty fucking cunting fucking weather with all my little black heart. I was at the friend’s greenhouse on Wednesday and they still keep steers. I smelled the thawing cow manure and thought this is spring. We have had red wing blackbirds calling in the marsh since last week and sandhill cranes for a couple weeks. That means spring is about to pop to me. Now get the damn snow off the ground so the visual matches my vision. ---
