Rainbows are too cluttered for me, I prefer more subtle pride attire. Got me a pride t-shirt that says “strong enough for a man, but made for a woman.” Gotta take some pink, pride cupcakes to work this week! Like last year! ---

I think the rainbow flag is great, I always thought the lambda symbol was rather elegant for gay pride, subtle unusual. 'Sides, all the gay physicists can go around saying “guess my wave length!?” ---

There should be a subtle sign, handshake, or symbol that pride peoples can have to notice other people that won’t be easily detected by the straights. Seeing as _someone_ spilled the beans on the rainbows. ---

I love the Rainbow stuff. When you’re not in one of the Big City Meccas, rainbows are an easy way to find each other. Otherwise you sometimes feel like you’re the only one in town. There’s no gay nightclub here. No gay bookstore. Nowhere you can go where you know everyone in the room is family. So the rainbows help you find each other without visiting Ruth Ann. ---

My friend Randy, rest his soul, once found the only gay outlet he could find in Arkansas by chasing down two lesbians with a rainbow sticker on their car. After he got them to pull over, and put down the baseball bat, things went quite smoothly. 😃 Esprix ---

A switch-hitter who switch-hits in many senses of the word, **Poly** : 1. The two aforementioned sex things 2. I can write with either hand (though my right hand is rather inferior) 3. I can throw with either hand (same) 4. I can use the mouse with either hand (left is worse) 5. I literally switch-hit. I have more practice from the left side of the plate, but my instincts are better from the right side. Incidentally, the only conversation about this with a bisexual guy that I can remember led me to find out that while he is a dom with women, he is a sub with men. Both? He must be akin to those baseball players who keep pulling muscles in their “left groin” or their “right groin” – a solecism I find both offensive and intriguing – if they have two groins, does that mean they have three legs…and you are more than welcome to carry on the train of thought that begins; I bow out at that point! 😃 ---
