Dude, those are some rockin’ shoes! I also wish I had told my [Mom](http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i84/NinetyWt/Stead_Gillespie/37b7a354.jpg) how much I loved her, back when I had the chance. I don’t think I was a very good communicator. ☹ Today I’m also thinking about my first Mother-in-Law, an exceptional lady whom I loved very much. That cartoon is just EVIL! But hilarious!!! If you managed to produce a decent child, IMO that is reward enough (though I wouldn’t turn down a gift and a trip to the all-you-can-eat buffet). If your kid turned out not so good (through no fault of your own), do something nice for yourself! “As you are, I once was. As I am, someday so shall you be.” Happy Mother’s Day, indeed. ---

Happy Mother’s Day to all you mothers! You persevere through all the whining, crying, pouting and tantrums that comes with the title, Mother. And that’s just from the fathers. ---

I ceased being a mother 11 years ago when my only child died. This day still makes me sad. ---

My Mom died 2007. 65 years old. Too soon. I went to the cemetary today. Cried, as I often do.
