Happy New Year all! I know, I’m late, but better late than never! 😉 We had some fried oysters the other night, and they went over so well, that we got some more. LOL There is a winery here in Albuquerque that makes mimosas already in the bottle, different flavors as well; we’ve got a pineapple mimosa just waiting for us to try it! I’ve actually had their mango mimosa before and it’s pretty tasty. My daughter also got a tray of jumbo shrimp, and let me tell you, they are indeed jumbos. They are almost prawns! Almost. 🙂 Very tasty although I have to control myself, I’m a bit sensitive to shrimp. Too bad they taste so good! Hope everyone is doing well. I was very good on New Year’s day and had collards, blackeyed peas and rice first thing. 🙂 ---

Smokage seems to be going well. Altho I don’t think I stuck the temp probe in the right part of the \ butt \. About 3 anna half hours to go. Not sure what part of it will be supper - we shall see. Our supposedly sunny day has been mostly overcast. It’s mid 40s right now, so running out to dump chips in the smoker is a chilly task. I suppose I could put on a hoodie or something, but that would make too much sense! 😃 ---

I think you are right **FCM** and I will order the chest. **Flytrap** the only bunnies around here are made of dust and they don’t need a hutch. Hardwood floors are pretty but damn are they hard to keep looking clean. Every little speck of dust, fuzz or dog hair stands out like a beacon, laughing at you because it escaped the vacuum or mop. Sometimes the bigger ones like to take the shape of a dead mouse, just to flip me out a little. Which is a whole lot better than a dead mouse pretending to be a dust bunny. At least my ill mood is improving. I’m no longer having fantasies of getting some friends with chain saws and retrieving my half of a boat. ---

We allowed to post about blogs on here? I’ve decided to start one for my allotment- partly ‘cos I keep rabbitin’ on about it here and a gardening forum, and I thought it’s be better to keep themed rabbitin’ on contained. My allotment hutch, as it were. There’s pictures of plants 'n stuff, it’s all terribly exciting. ---

I saw that **Swampy** it’s sad news. Leftover pizza for dinner here, or leftover spam and beans. Neither sounds good but as long as there are leftovers I won’t make anything else. I need to call a couple of friends soon. One of them asked another friend if I was mad at her, I’m not. I think some of my friends don’t understand that I talk on the phone all day for irk and I get talked out. ---

The ribs were amazing, and I’m not usually a rib fan! The brats were overdone, but \*\*FCD \*\*said they were still good. The butt has been hacked off the bone and it’ll be finished in the crock pot tomorrow with copious amounts of BBQ sauce. Tomorrow, I get to clean the smoker. Rah. UPS didn’t deliver my yarn. The tracker claims I requested the package be held - and supposedly I requested that at 5:13. I’m guessing a delivery guy missed my stop, so he claims I told him not to come. I’m awaiting a call back from the center in Waldorf. I am not amused! ---
