My sisters were going to be getting their Christmas presents a little late. Then the dog ate one of them. Now hers is going to be later. Turkey broth finished overnight (made from baked turkey wings). It’s cooling, covered in the crock pot while I’m at work. I need to remember to strain it and reduce it a bit tonight. I am inordinately fond of homemade turkey broth. ---

Supper was good - poke tenderloin, N.O.T.s-n-onions, and 'maters in blue cheese dressing. Well, it was good until _someone_ knocked over an almost full glass of soda while trying to give the dog a plate, despite being repeatedly told _NOT TO FEED THE DOG TABLE SCRAPS!!!_ So I got to finish my meal by pulling out the carpet cleaner. Good times… And I didn’t make the apple cake, so we don’t have any dessert. Bummer. ---

Sketties and meatballs made for a good dindin on a dreary evenin’. YUM! I asked OYKW if he minded havin’ it again tomorrow. **Emily** , didja wear house slippers to complete the ensemble? 😛 I got handed three requests at the end of the irkday today for an area that I haven’t dealt with for several years. I got as far as to set up an appointment wit the coordinator over there first thing tomorrow. Gotta love when cow-orker’s vacations coincide with year end. ---

\*\*Midget \*\* if there was no snow on the ground you should have worn flip flops. I used to wear them all winter after I broke my toe. People thought I was crazy but it hurt to wear shoes. The dog is sleeping, the son is sick, I still have chills and so will be going to sleep soon. As soon as I can stand up out of this couch. ---
