In Detroit they encourage fireworks. Because the existing “tradition” is firing guns, including fully automatic, in the air. ---

Still two and a half hours from 2015 and a number of fuckwits are already firing mortars. (Fireworks are only legal here on July 4th.) I was watching CNN in Times Square, and their clocks were almost 5 minutes slow. The ball dropped when my clocks and watches said 12:05. A while later, their time caught up with mine. Anyone else notice this? ---

Maybe they’ll have the tape synced up for us here on the West Coast…we’re watching Anderson Cooper and Kathy Griffin right now, on a 3 hour tape delay 🙂 ---
