That was 53 years ago. No one in _this thread_ has used any racist terms to describe your countrymen. All I’m asking is for the same level of respect we’ve demonstrated.

And that is exactly why I started this pit thread. Unless you call Clothalump’s statement in my OP demonstrating respect for fellow human beings.

And how, exactly, does that negate the alleged felonious misconduct of assault with a deadly weapon on a law enforcement officer?

A tough stance, indeed, and hardly the epitome of respect. However, since he clearly didn’t say “shooting wetbacks”, I fail to see how you’ve addressed the issue of racist remarks on your part. Hmm?

Calling for the cold blooded murder of people from certain ethnic groups isn’t enough? He needed to have added a spoken insult?

You started with a problem with one poster, you seem to be trying to expand it to many posters. You are insulting many of us.
If you had presented a better argument, many of us would have sided with you. Instead you use one foolish young man.
I can tell you from past experience that very many people in this thread giving you a hard time have jump on \*\*Clothahump \*\* for making statements that were seen as outrageous. It has happen many times, just ask him.

Actually, he was talking about ANYONE trying to enter the countery illegally. This includes Mexicans, Canadians, Puerto Ricans, Germans, Chinese, Indians and anyone else you can think of. You’re the only one being racist in this thread, and until you address this, I see no reason to continue this discussion with you.
