_ugh_ I _thought_ I’d sleep in this morning. Maybe get up at seven. Tonka thought otherwise. ‘Time to get up! Time to get up!’ he yowled. ‘Feed me!’ Starting at around five. At a quarter 'til six, I realised I wasn’t going to get back to sleep. Up at six o’clock. Been up for an hour and a half. ☹

I’ll start prepping the feast at ten. The 13-pound turkey should take three hours to cook, so I’ll get it in the oven around 11 or so.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

As I heard on the radio “No matter what holiday you celebrate in December, in November all Americans celebrate Thanksgiving.”

That’s being united for a very good reason.
