We got lucky here today. We’ve had some major snow a couple weeks ago and a massive rainstorm over the last couple days, but locally, today is great. It’s sunny and pleasant; it feels about 60 degrees with a light breeze. I just got back in from wandering through the woods for a while; I’m muddy, but happy. There’s birds and frogs just going to town singing out there, there were turkey tracks all over the place down by the creek, and there’s a pair of red-tailed hawks circling in the sky over the field. We’re still going to have some hard frosts and maybe more snow, but not today.

Pretty cold here in Cleveland; we got another inch of snow last night. Oh, well - I always go by the thermometer more than by the calendar anyway.
