# Harald V of Norway dies at 89

On Friday 28 Aug the Norwegian people learned that their beloved King, Harald V, had passed away the same morning. The King had been hospitalized the previous week, and on Thursday his condition changed for the worse. He passed away Friday 28 Aug at 6:35 CEDT.

King Harald was deeply loved and respected. He modernized the Norwegian royalty and was a warm and empathic person.
