Okay, so a couple of us over in the “piano ballads suck” thread were flabbergasted to find out that Paul Stanley is apparently a flaming homo. I remember being similarly surprised to find that Rob Halford was gay (I know, the outfits should have been a dead giveaway, I just thought it was a heavy metal thing…). Are there more surprises you’d like to share with us? I’m not talking “shoulda knowns” like Freddie Mercury or Elton John. I’m talking about guys I just wouldn’t have guessed were gay, based on their public personas… ---

I’m looking for a cite, but with trepidation, as I’m at work, but ISTR that the word was that PS is bisexual. He has admitted to being “very in touch with his feminine side” harhar. I also find Joan Jett’s changing of gender references in her cover of The Arrows’ [I Love Rock n Roll](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8AT_Pbtyid0) to be…ironic? ---

Wikipedia has NO information about Paul Stanley being gay and I would think they would have it, if it was true. ---

Paul Stanley’s married to a woman and has two kids, so, you know, maybe not so gay. Bi? Could be. Joan Jett, on the other hand, is as queer as a three dollar bill. She’s out about it, sings about it, and her guitar is covered in stickers for bands like Tribe 8 and the leather pride flag and slogans like “dykes rule”. ---

But this is news to me, and as someone with friends in the business I am surprised I didn’t know it.
