Paul Stanley is NOT gay - that’s a rumour made up by gay men who WISH Paul was gay! Rob Halford is gay but not Paul Stanley - Paul was always a ladies man who had sex with thousands of women after KISS concerts. Paul & Gene were the ones who always got the girls, and Paul is now married to his 2nd wife, and he’s the father of 4 kids - one son from his 1st wife, and 3 kids from his current wife. People falsely assume that Paul is gay just because he has a “pretty” face & sensuous moves onstage, but that does NOT mean he’s gay! ---

Because they found the thread on Google and didn’t check the dates. It’s not in the slightest bit hard to understand the mistake. On the topic itself, I’m always somewhat bemused by the “KISS are the most promiscuous band in the word” thang. Every single aspect of the band and its image is carefully controlled and manufactured for maximum publicity. They are to rock music what professional wrestling is to sport. Ask yourself this: if you were a high camp, image focussed, voraciously publicity hungry band and your target market was teenage wannabe bad boys, would you put about the idea that the band members are sex gods even if it wasn’t true? Of course you would. The promiscuity thing seems to emanate from the band itself. I don’t doubt they were promiscuous (as all band members in high profile band can be), but I’d need a lot more by way of evidence before I believed their hype. ---

It isn’t sexy…it’s outrageously funny, like watching a fun drag show. (At every single show since Paul Stanley climbed aboard: a runway. And interesting, _famous_ gay people with diverse habits and activities are awesome figureheads for a growing legion of out and self-assured gays. The cooler the frontman, the cooler the band. And KISS is still campy and cool, watching Stanley strut around is a hoot. Always a fun show. (And it might also benefit a jealous boyfriend or spouse to impugn Paul Stanley as gay if a certain mamacita bears a hefty crush on his skin-tight, leopard-printed, stilletto-teetering, hair-teased, makeup-caked glamorous self.) ---
