# Hard to be around and difficult to talk to

I took a shy new gf to my parents house one time, it was supposed to be just a couple people eating dinner and ended up being about 12 of my family loud and talking like mad. I seriously dont think she said more than 10 words the entire evening beyond hellos. she still had a good time it was just kinda to much for her to walk into and be comfortable talking and just jumping in. sounds like your sil needs a clue.
