# Hardcover Marvel classics collection?

Back in the 70s our local library had a hardcover collection of Marvel comics that had such issues as Spiderman #1, Fantastic 4 #1, X-men #1, etc. I must have checked that book out almost 100 times.  
My son (4-1/2) is now really into the Marvel superheros and I’d like to find a book like this but am coming up empty in my searches.  
Any big comic book fans out there that can make some recommendations?

It seems like I recall Marvel released a big ‘History of Marvel’ style volume recently.. or maybe it’s yet to come? I remember the concept was supposed to be everything Marvel published, in chronological order, from FF #1. I do know they have the Marvel Masterworks series, though - big Hardcovers focusing on one title.
