My first reaction will be to hope the violence is kept to a minimum. Because he and his supporters are not going to go away quietly. ---

An enormous sigh of relief. Followed by an all-too-familiar worry about what comes next. What will be the next threat the fascist Trump and his minions present to freedom and the rule of law? A Harris win just means the country didn’t lose at that particular point. It’s living to fight another day. This particular plague isn’t going to be eradicated swiftly or without a lot of pain. ---

I’ll be checking to how big the margin of victory is - the smaller the margin, the greater chance of public tantrums like J6. A bigger margin may quiet all but the most rabid of his supporters. For now. I hope. ---
